Living Arrows 4/52

My fourth week of joining in with Living Arrows hosted by Donna at What The Redhead Said.  Every Monday, me and other fellow bloggers share a moment from our week and pictures of our children; ideally one of each of our children.

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Another week of Living Arrows but yet, another week of us being in the house all day. I feel like we’re definitely missing out on so many things, but how easy is it for you to go outdoors with a 3 year old and a 1 and a half year old? For me it isn’t at all. If my husband was at home all day, then that would be a different story. The weather has been horrible lately as well – very windy and just freezing cold. Perhaps I should do more research in regard to the activities or places near me that I think I could manage to take the kids on my own.

On Sunday however, one of my aunties invited us over for lunch and I was so glad she did. We haven’t seen her and her family for over a year now and the boys enjoyed playing with her children and their toys. Kids always love someone else’s toys, don’t they? So with this occasion, I managed to snap a picture of them while we were getting ready to leave. In that moment I realised how I don’t actually take a lot of pictures of them during the week either.

I live by lists and plans. If I don’t have a ‘To Do’ list every single day, I don’t know what to do and where to start. I should definitely add one more to the list – take pictures of the kids every single day so that way, I can at least tick it off once it’s done!

I hope your week was more exciting than mine and you and your children got to visit and do more adventurous things!

  • It’s so hard to get out and about with little ones especially in this horrible weather, hopefully you can find some indoor activities close to home that you will feel comfortable going to. I love a good list too, don’t know what I would do without them x #livingarrows

  • With two little ones of my own I understand where you are coming from with struggling to get out places and feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all. You will get there and planning places to go is no bad thing. #LivingArrows

  • You are not the only one! I work during the week and dont tend to pick the kids up from childcare till 6 so theres no chance of us getting out until the weekends. I also realised I took very little photos of the boys unless it was for a sponsored post. Which is the complete opposite reason for starting the blog in the first place. Living arrows makes me, but I have also started project 365. Now although many of my photos can’t be of the kids because of work it is making me use my camera more. xx

  • When our two were that age I hardly went out aside from going to nursery! Other than that we’d play at home, especially in the winter – it was just so much easier! x
