My twenty oneth week of joining in with Living Arrows hosted by Donna at What The Redhead Said. Every Monday, me and other fellow bloggers share a moment from our week and pictures of our children; ideally one of each of our children.
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
When I first joined Living Arrows I thought this is about being outdoors every week and doing as many things as possible with the children. Well, it might be just that, and the rest of the mums seem to be doing it really well, but I’ve realised that for me, it doesn’t actually matter if we don’t go outdoors some of the weeks.
What I care about the most is documenting photos of my children every week so that I can look at them at the end of the year and see how much they’ve grown. It’s also reminding me to thank God for living, for giving us one more week and allowing us to spend it together. Thanking Him for my living arrows which are my children. These are just some of the things I wouldn’t have done if it wasn’t for the Living Arrows project.
So last week, although we didn’t do much, we had each other, we spent time together and every day counts!
I have been married for four years and God gave me the most precious gifts: Nathan and Josh. We also have Sasha, our gorgeous German Shepherd, and we love travelling, food, sleeping (although this one is hardly possible because my children don’t appreciate the benefits of sleep).
