Living Arrows 10/52
My tenth week of joining in with Living Arrows hosted by Donna at What The Redhead Said. Every Monday, me and other fellow bloggers share a moment from our week and pictures of our children; ideally one of each of our children.
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Compared to last year, we’re definitely going out of the house more. I do try to go somewhere with them every week so at least I have something to write about for this project. Even if it’s not always a new park or somewhere outdoors, if I manage to leave the house to visit a friend or a relative, that’s perfect to me.
We went to the swimming pool on Friday evening and Josh was able to swim in the water by himself for a few seconds (with the armbands of course) . I am always so happy for him with every little progress he does. Nathan also loved being at the swimming pool and his daddy is teaching him how to jump. Nathan is not afraid of water at all.
On Saturday I was away from home for 4 hours and Josh came with me, but he behaved so so well. I was actually impressed because I thought he will get bored very quickly, but unlike his brother, he doesn’t get bored quickly.

Also on Friday, we visited some friends to see their newborn baby. The boys always love other children’s toys and they will play with them for hours. I actually have bought them one toy that they’ve seen in our friends’ house because it was so interesting and different than anything they’ve got now.

On Sunday I visited my best friend and then she came with me and the kids to the soft play. I love it when we get to see other people too, because most of the times, I find it hard to meet/visit friends or family whenever I have to take the kids with me. I feel like I have to either be with the children 100% or pay attention to my conversation with the adult 100%, so by doing both at the same time, I can’t really concentrate on just one. But when I do see my friends, I’m actually happy I made the courage to leave the house in the end.

Taking part in a project like living arrows definitely encourages you to get out more. It looks like you have all enjoyed the company of friends this week. #livingarrows
Meeting up with others is always enjoyable. #LivingArrows
I am the same it makes me do more with the boys when I am not at work. Sounds like you have had some great adventures this week and enjoyed time with friends x #livingarrows
It sounds like you did so much! I know that whenever we visit friends of family I find parenting so much easier as the children have distractions and new things to do or play with x
