Maple syrup and banana waffles

I don’t usually have a sweet tooth, but I love waffles and I’ve always wanted a waffle maker. For so long, I just didn’t think they would do a great job and they wouldn’t be worth the money; until VonShef gifted me one (the Dual Round Waffle Maker) for the purpose of this post, and since then we’ve been making and eating more waffles than I had in my entire life. The maple syrup and banana waffles recipe is one of my favourites … so far!

For the waffles, VonShef has a good waffle recipe on their website just to help you if you’ve never made these before and you can find it HERE! They take less than 30 minutes to make with this waffle maker, so my morning breakfast is sorted for many days to come!

VonShef Waffle Maker

After you’ve done your batter, the rest is a piece of cake. You preheat the waffle maker, put the batter, close the lid and leave it for about 4 minutes, without opening the lid meanwhile. I love this waffle maker because it has non-stick coated plates for easy cleanup and perfectly formed waffles.

Once they’re done, I add maple syrup, lots of fresh bananas and fresh cream (I add quite a bit of that too!).

I promise you, it tastes delicious! I love these toppings, but I’m actually so excited to try even more combinations now that I have a waffle maker.
