A day trip to Keukenhof, the tulip and flower garden!

Keukenhof near Lisse is the world’s largest flower garden park. In 2017, Keukenhof is open from March 23 to May 21 daily from 8am to 7:30pm so there’s still plenty of time for you to visit it during the weekend or even take a day off work. It’s definitely worth it!

I have been there with my family last year in May and it was absolutely amazing. All of the flowers, the beautiful colours, designs and flower displays, the windmill .. there’s just so much to see. One day is not enough to admire all the beauty in that park. I’m sure everyone will love their visit there: children, teenagers, adults and elderly. What’s not to like?

We went with the car and it took us about 6 hours from London to the park. I think it’s best to go with the car if you can but I’m sure there are other ways to get there, although it might be a little bit more complicated and it will probably take a bit longer. There are places where you can buy food as well but if you are on a tight budget, you can bring your own.

Lastly, if you don’t want to wait in line to purchase your ticket at the door, you can buy your tickets here which is a lot easier and hassle-free. Now, please enjoy the beautiful photos that I took during my visit there 🙂
